User-Generated Content Policy

This User-Generated Content Policy ("UGC Policy") explains the rules for any content you create, upload, submit, publish, or share through the Nanus Gold Rate application and the website at https://nanusgoldrateapp.com (the "Service"), operated by Nanus Technologies Private Limited ("Nanus", "we", "us", "our").

This UGC Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms and Conditions and Terms of Use. By submitting User Content, you agree to this UGC Policy.

1. What Is User Content

"User Content" means anything you provide through the Service, including:

2. You Are Responsible for Your Content

2.1. You are solely responsible for your User Content and for the consequences of publishing it. We do not pre-screen all User Content and are not responsible for content created by users.

2.2. You represent and warrant that, for all User Content you submit:

3. Licence You Grant to Us

3.1. You keep ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant Nanus a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, cache, reproduce, adapt, format, and display your User Content for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you — for example, to render your logo and details into the posters and profile you create and to deliver them within the app and for sharing.

3.2. This licence exists only to run the Service and ends when you delete the relevant User Content or your Account, except: (a) for content you have already shared externally (for example, a poster you sent to customers), which is outside our control; and (b) where we must retain copies to comply with law or to resolve disputes, retained only for as long as necessary.

3.3. We do not claim ownership of your brand, logo, or trademarks.

4. Prohibited Content

You must not create, upload, publish, or share any User Content that:

4.1. is false, misleading, or deceptive — including fake or inaccurate gold/silver rates, false discounts or offers, fabricated certifications, or misleading purity, weight, or hallmark claims;

4.2. infringes intellectual-property rights — including using another business's logo, brand name, trademark, copyrighted images, or designs without authorisation, or passing off another's brand as your own;

4.3. is unlawful, fraudulent, or promotes illegal activity, including the sale of stolen, smuggled, counterfeit, or prohibited goods, money laundering, or evasion of applicable precious-metals, tax, or consumer-protection laws;

4.4. is defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory on the basis of religion, caste, gender, ethnicity, nationality, or any protected characteristic;

4.5. is obscene, pornographic, or otherwise inappropriate, or harmful to minors in any way;

4.6. violates another person's privacy — including publishing someone's personal data, photographs, or contact details without consent;

4.7. contains malware or links intended to harm, deceive, defraud, or phish other users;

4.8. is spam, or that uses the marketplace, advertisement, referral, or rewards features in a fraudulent, manipulative, or abusive way (including fake listings or fake referrals);

4.9. impersonates Nanus, another business, or any person, or falsely implies endorsement or affiliation; or

4.10. otherwise breaches our Terms of Use, Terms and Conditions, or any applicable law.

5. Accuracy of Rates and Business Claims

Because the Service is used to communicate prices to customers, you have a special responsibility to ensure that any rate, offer, weight, purity, or certification you publish is accurate, current, and lawful. You are solely responsible for your published rates and claims and for honouring them with your customers. Nanus is not a party to any transaction between you and your customers.

6. Moderation, Removal, and Enforcement

6.1. We may, but are not obliged to, review, monitor, or moderate User Content.

6.2. We may remove, disable, restrict, or refuse any User Content, and limit, suspend, or terminate any Account, at any time and without prior notice, if we reasonably believe the content or conduct breaches this UGC Policy, the Terms and Conditions, the Terms of Use, or applicable law, or if we are required to do so by law or a competent authority.

6.3. Enforcement steps may include a warning, content removal, feature restriction, temporary suspension, or permanent termination, depending on the seriousness and history of the breach.

6.4. We may preserve and disclose User Content and account information where we believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with law, enforce our policies, or protect the rights, safety, or property of Nanus, our users, or the public.

7. Reporting Violations and Takedown Requests

7.1. If you believe any User Content infringes your rights or breaches this UGC Policy, please contact us at support@nanustechnologies.com with:

7.2. We will review valid reports and take appropriate action, which may include removing the content and notifying the user who posted it.

7.3. We may reject or reverse action on reports that are incomplete, abusive, or made in bad faith.

8. Grievance Redressal (India)

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it (including the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021), you may contact our Grievance Officer with any complaint about User Content or this UGC Policy:

We will acknowledge complaints within the timelines required by applicable law and aim to resolve them promptly.

9. Your Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nanus and its officers, employees, and partners from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your User Content or your breach of this UGC Policy, as further described in Section 15 of the Terms and Conditions.

10. Deleting Your Content

You can remove most User Content by editing or deleting it in the app, or by deleting your Account (see https://nanusgoldrateapp.com/howtodelete). Some copies may remain in backups or where retention is required by law, as described in Section 3.2.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this UGC Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
